So you have free choice to use one output for sync and the other for timecode or a Y cable with both signals. One jack carries timecode and genlock/wordclock, the other timecode and the serial ACN metadata signal. TC input and output follow industry standards and allow you to feed timecode to two cameras in parallel or jam via cable while the Lockit is connected to one camera. Two Lemo-compatible push-pull jacks give you maximum flexibility and you can continue to use your existing cables. So you can easily check if your equipment is still running in sync – to within a hundredth of a frame. Like all Lockit devices, the ACL204 is based around a highly accurate, tunable, temperature compensated crystal for reliable synchronization of multiple devices without cables or fragile wireless transmission. The OLED display also has a handy timecode comparison tool. For about 20 years, the Ambient Lockit is the market leading portable, timecode and sync generator worldwide. The Ambient Recording LTC-OUT Lockit Timecode Out to BNC / L5P-BNC is an output cable for the Lockit ACL 204 TC-Generator / Trilevel-Sync and ACN-TL Tiny. This also allows it to function as a master, automatically jamming devices that are added or rebooted within a day.

Setting has never been easier – with only two parameters.Īs with the NanoLockit, the devices can be jammed to the current time of day of the internal realtime clock with just one push of a button. The Ambient Communication Network (ACN) is our own wireless network that connects all Lockit boxes on set. Word clock from 48 to 192 KHz is available for audio recorders.
